What an absolute treat and so so worth it. Brian, our guide, was not only an expert about the food at all of our food stops, he was totally versed in the history of DUMBO and its relevance to Manhattan. I can't wait to take this tour again. The empanadas, macaroni and cheese , little cookies and chocolates and all of the history just blew me away. Enjoy Enjoy

Despite the chilly weather, the whole day was a great time. Our tour guide, Jessie, was very informative and enthusiastic. She gave us an amazing tour of the neighborhood and the Brooklyn bridge. We had the pleasure of visiting 7 food venues and enjoyed some great food. I would definitely recommend this tour to somebody who is looking for a fun day with friends or somebody who would like to learn more about Brooklyn!

Alex was a truly fun tour guide. I have been to the very neighborhood before but never saw it from a food and culture angle before. It opened my eyes to how many magnificent historic things we have in New York right around the corner that would blow our minds, if we truly knew their origin and what showed up in the world because of a pioneering thought. The food connection made it tangible and satisfying. Food is what we celebrate around. So finding the extraordinary little bluegrass joint with homegrown Mac and Cheese and gorgeous murals that was once a warehouse, the quaint cookie store with bite sized and real sized cookies with the names of girls. Such a fun angle to view the world from!!! A truly memorable day in DUMBO!!! With a guide that wrote a play about Francis Scott Key, no less!

This food tour was so great. Got to learn about the history of DUMBO and support local food shops that have been around for 20 years. Food was amazing and just enjoyable for everyone. Our tour guide Jessie was super friendly and taught us so much. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and would go on one again!

My friends and I decided to spend a day in Brooklyn and we found this fantastic food tour. Jessie, our tour guide, was amazing. She was friendly, informative, and she chose the best places to stop for food tastings. We really appreciated supporting local businesses in the area and Jessie highlighted the stories behind each one. We had such a great time with Jessie and we’re really looking forward to another tour with Jessie and NYC Tour Hub soon. We were thinking this would be a perfect gift for the holidays!

We really enjoyed our tour and Jessie was a great guide. You’ll be walking about 3 miles in total (so be sure to wear comfortable shoes) seeing all the sites of Brooklyn and having ample photo opportunities. There are seven food stops and all of them really really good. It’s a fun and interesting tour! Don’t hesitate to book- you’ll have a great time.

What a fabulous day! Alex showed us the development of the DUMBO area of Brooklyn through both historic and culinary lenses. We walked through Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO and were treated to sweeping panoramas of lower Manhattan. Tasty and varied treats kept our stomachs happy as we learned about the bustling renaissance of DUMBO. This is a wonderful way to spend part of the day with friends or family!

Alex P led a wonderful tour through Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO. The food was amazing starting with the breakfast sandwich and finishing with the pizza. Highly recommended this tour to get off the beaten tourist path. Well done!
