Beautiful Wailua Falls was featured on the TV show "Fantasy Island"
You will have plenty of time to marvel at this twin fall beauty, snap some pics, and shop for some local goods.

Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Spouting Horn, South Shore, Poipu, Koloa, Kauai, HI

As we head to Poipu town we will drive through the famous tunnel of trees and visit the Spouting Horn. Here you will have time to take in the beauty of the South coast of Kauai, listen to the legend of the area, take pics, and do some shopping for local souvenirs.

Stop At: Hanapepe Valley Lookout, Kaumualii Hwy, Hanapepe, Kauai, HI 96741

This beautiful valley is privately owned by the renowned Robinson family. It is where the famous Jurassic Falls is located deep within its interior (not able to see it from the lookout). Its rich red dirt and green slopes will give you a preamble taste of our mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific.

Stop At: Swinging Bridge, Hanapepe, Kauai, HI

A stop in old historic Hanapepe town will give you an insight into the sugar plantation days. You will have free time to stroll through town, walk across the swinging bridge over the Hanapepe River, shop for local souvenirs & enjoy some delicious local grinds at any of the many food establishments; sushi, local Hawaiian, bakery, and deli cafe.

Stop At: Waimea Canyon State Park, Waimea Canyon Dr, Waimea, Kauai, HI 96796

Waimea Canyon State Park is one of Kauai's gems. Here we will make 3 stops, the Waimea Canyon lookout and 2 not listed on the map to see a different angle of the Canyon.
At the Waimea lookout you can purchase a variety of fresh island fruits, and soft drinks.

Stop At: Russian Fort Elizabeth State Historical Park, Highway 50, Waimea, Kauai, HI 96766-1875

A stop at the remains of the Queen Elizabeth Russian fort will take you back to the early 1800s. This Fort was built by Waimea Bay, not only the only black sand beach on Kauai but the first landing place of famous explorer, Captain James Cook, on the Hawaiian Islands. Pull out your cameras for great shots of the "Forbidden Island" of Niihau and the picturesque Waimea Pier.

Stop At: Kauai Coffee Company, 870 Halewili Road, Kalaheo, Kauai, HI 96741

Get ready to visit the largest plantation of coffee growers and roasters in the USA. You will have an opportunity to sample all their various roasts for free, do a self guided walk through part of the plantation, and do some shopping at their gift center. If you don't like coffee you can relax and enjoy a beverage or ice cream at their snack shop.

I wish I was able to write a review of this awesome excursion. However, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, our cruise was cancelled and we won't be making the trip to Hawaii. However, I feel compelled to write about my experience booking with Kauai Soul Travel nonetheless. We booked our tour in February and Coco was amazing, answering all my questions and making me want to be in Hawaii as soon as I could. When our cruise was cancelled, Coco called to let me know she would refund our money in full and wished us well. I hadn't even contacted her yet. I love the personal touch that we received from Kauai Soul Travel and know that this will be the first place I book again as soon as I can reschedule our trip for next year I can only imagine how amazing their tours must be. This small group tour hits all the must see natural attractions of this beautiful island: waterfalls, canyons, spouting horn, and wildlife -- on our trip we spotted a whale spout, sea turtles, and even a monk seal playing in the surf and numerous chickens! Plus there's lunch and shopping in Hanapepe (with the swinging bridge) and an aromatic coffee plantation. A fun filled, comfortable day of amazing vistas, interesting facts, and appreciation for all that Kauai has to offer. What makes this trip special is the warmth and hospitality provided by our guide, Coco Maria! She makes every effort to show you her beautiful island and relates stories and Hawaiian facts that will stay with you long after you must say "a hui hou" or until we meet again.

One of the best excursions we’ve done. Coco was an an excellent guide, she kept us entertained and informed throughout the day. It was a small group and she made several unplanned stops, treating us to many amazing views. There were several stops with unbelievable views of the canyon and our lunch stop was in a pretty little town called Hanapepe. We also had a stop at Kauai Coffee which was great. We were able to sample all of their various brews - my personal favorite was the Irish Coffee blend. They also had a short self guided tour explaining the process from seed to mug. All in all a terrific day Mahalo Coco and her assistant Kono 🐶

Amazing tour, Coco was so accommodating to our wishes and needs. She took pictures of us, taught me a few tricks on my camera, told us legends and history of island. She was amazing

We did the NCL Cruise ship special with Coco. We had a blast, we felt like we were touring with our best friend. She went to all the great places to see on the island and was very knowledgeable about everything. We loved our day so much we hated to say goodbye ❤️

We were frazzled when our ship came in nearly 3 hours later than planned but no fear Coco was there (greetings us with hugs and smiles)! She worked EXTREMELY well with our schedule and even adjusted her trip so we could see everything we wanted to in our shortened trip. She was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and shared lots of great history, information and facts about the island of the people of the island. She is a fantastic driver and an excellent tour guide!

Coco was amazing! She had an itinerary but made tweaks as we went along based on our preferences. She was very knowledgeable and was a great storyteller! Our seven hours was over before you knew it.

This is a small private group tour. Maria is extremely knowledgeable about all things Hawaiian. Because the group is small the tour can be adjusted for personnel tastes. So much better that those 50 person cruise ship tours.

Small group with a warm, friendly, knowledgeable guide. Maria added local flavor to this tour. Her knowledge of everything Hawaiian is amazing. Due to the small vehicle size we went farther into the canyon than the large tour buses, amazing views. We stopped at a small artsy village. Delicious pastries at their bakery. And of course beautiful beach scenery. So much better that the 50 passenger tour bus.
