Sugar Knoll is the most prominent feature in the area. Settlers thought it looked like a pile of sugar when it is covered in snow. It is a sister mountain to Checkerboard Mesa in Zion Nation Park. We will spend the majority of the time rappelling in Ladder Canyon right next t o Sugar Knoll.

Ted is an excellent guide and trainer. I felt very confident he would lead me through the experience. I never thought I would do that sort of adventure, but it was offered as a substitute for another I signed up for. This was also accommodating. Ted really loves his work and it shows in his performance of it.

Definitely a bucket list check off day!! We had the best time with Ted our tour guide! He was awesome! This was something I had always wanted to do and was scared but decided this year was going to be the year! Life is too short and my family loves adventures now that the kiddos are old enough to enjoy doing these adventures together! Ted made all of us feel comfortable and explained everything the whole time. It was definitely an experience we will never forget! Best Christmas ever!

We had a great time visiting East Zion slot canyon. The weather was a little chilly but all went very well. In fact, much better than expected. We had Anthony as our guide and he is very knowledgeable and professional. This is our first time doing rappelling and we felt safe and had a lot of fun doing it. The slot canyon is absolutely stunning. Even with overcast, it was still beautiful. So, if you have some time after visiting Zion NP, this would be a great half day side trip! Highly recommended.

So glad we opted to go with East Zion Experiences. This company was very accommodating and Our guide Kyle was very knowledgeable about the slot canyons and canyoneering. Everything about the tour was awesome! From the UTV ride, to the hike and rappelling. It was a very fun challenge and requires some physical effort. My 5year old enjoyed it as much as we did. Yes. He dis rappel on his own and did great! I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you are more on the adventurous side.

Fantastic experience. Super fun, exhilarating, and rewarding. Rob was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, safe, professional, charismatic, personable. Want him to take me canyoneering again! Would absolutely book with EZE another time, highly recommend you check them out and do the 4 hour tour. Plus the food truck on site is outrageously good.

We had an amazing experience!!! Kyle was our tour guide and he was super helpful, friendly and patient. Definitely want to go again!!! I highly recommend anyone who enjoys adventure to try canyoneering with East Zion Experiences!!!

Weston was our guide, was with my wife and 8 year old twins, he is amazing, so patient and just so great with the kids, made the experience so much better. KIDS LOVED IT. Was my wife’s 40th birthday and wanted to do something different, she loved every minute. Beautiful area, slot canyons are breathtaking. Kids were a bit scared but you start very easy and work your way to the end which was more challenging but they got it, they learned and sure it was still a bit scary but they got through it and can’t wait to go again. Do it, you will not regret it.

My fellow tour mates were a lot of fun and the guide, Kyle, was outstanding. We felt so safe, and he was patient and encouraging. I can’t imagine going with anyone else!
